現在的SATA硬碟幾乎都是做熱插拔 (hot swap)
換硬碟也不像以前要先關機 , 舊硬碟拔下來換上新硬碟 , 再開機

在BSD底下 , 有個好用的工具 atacontrol

原理是先將要換的硬碟的channel先detach , 硬碟換掉之後再attach那個channel

先用atacontrol list 查看目前ata的狀態

ATA channel 2:
    Master:      no device present
    Slave:  acd0 <DV-28E-V/1.AB> ATA/ATAPI revision 7
ATA channel 3:
    Master:  ad6 <WDC WD2500AAKS-00B3A0/01.03A01> SATA revision 2.x
    Slave:       no device present
ATA channel 4:
    Master:      no device present
    Slave:       no device present
ATA channel 5:
    Master:      no device present
    Slave:       no device present
ATA channel 6:
    Master:      no device present
    Slave:       no device present
    
    
硬碟裝進去之後 , 不像SCSI 直接rescan 就好了
SATA沒有分master/slave , 一個channel就只有一顆
所以新加的硬碟一定在別的channel

     atacontrol detach ata4
     atacontrol attach ata4

ATA channel 4:
    Master:  ad8 <ST3500418AS/CC35> SATA revision 2.x
    Slave:       no device present
